Lather lightly into palms and massage through scalp and hair. Rinse and enjoy! If new to solid shampoo it's advised to use every other wash until your hair acclimates to the natural ingredients.

Transition & Hard Water Guide

Technique: Thoroughly wet your hair and the bar. Build a light lather between wet palms, then gently massage it into your scalp with fingertips. Start with a small amount and rinse thoroughly, including the roots and back of your head. Let the bar dry between uses.

Getting started: Begin with every-other-wash use as noted above. How your hair feels may vary over the first few washes; there is no guaranteed adjustment period. Persistent waxiness or discomfort should not be treated as something you must push through.

Hard water: Calcium and magnesium in hard water can react with soap, reducing lather and leaving a waxy or heavy residue. Results vary with water hardness, and this bar may not suit every water condition. More product is not always the answer. If residue persists despite careful lathering and thorough rinsing, try an apple cider vinegar deluted rinse.
